Its magnificent Castle is where Mary Queen of Scots was crowned and a favourite royal residence of many of the Stuart monarchs. The castle also houses the Regimental Museum of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders.

Visit  Bannockburn Heritage Centre where Robert the Bruce defeated King Edward II and won freedom for Scotland from English domination. Sleep at the foot of the Wallace Monument, a gothic tower honouring Scotland's other national hero William Wallace. Our front bedrooms have a wonderful view of the monument, which is spectacular at night.
